Join us to celebrate the launch of Ubuntu 16.04, codename Xenial Xerus.
Ubuntu is a very popular flavour of the GNU/Linux operating system and this latest release is what’s known as an ‘LTS’ or ‘Long Term Support’ release. This means that Canonical, the company who sponsor Ubuntu development, will provide support and patches for this version for a period of 5 years from launch.
We will be toasting Ubuntu and taking a look back over the history of the project, as well as assisting in installing and upgrading computers.
